The 18 tracks include AI Plumbers, ASF Infrastructure, Cassandra, CloudStack, Community, Data Infra and Engineering, Fintech and Fineract, Governance and Policy, Groovy, Incubator, Industrial IoT, NuttX RTOS, On-demand, Performance / Scalability / Observability, Search, Streaming, Sustainability and Green Software, and Tomcat/Httpd.

Track Highlights

  • AI Plumbers: OpenAI engineers will share how they re-architected Apache Airflow to handle 70,000+ tasks in six weeks using Codex.
  • Fintech and Fineract: Sessions cover building an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Europe, deploying AI-powered financial inclusion tools with an open source fintech stack, and a hands-on workshop on progressive loan management.
  • Industrial IoT: Motorola Mobility engineers will walk through building an end-to-end IIoT platform entirely on ASF projects.

Community Over Code Glasgow 2026 runs October 11–14. Registration is open at https://communityovercode.org/. Early bird conference pricing for this year’s event is US$500 until July 28, when the regular rate of US$600 will apply. If you are an ASF committer, use your @apache.org email to register for the Committer rate of US$250.
