Track Highlights
Some highlights across the tracks include:
- AI Plumbers: OpenAI engineers will share how they re-architected Apache Airflow to handle 70,000+ tasks in six weeks using Codex.
- Fintech and Fineract: Sessions cover building an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Europe, deploying AI-powered financial inclusion tools with an open source fintech stack, and a hands-on workshop on progressive loan management.
- Industrial IoT: Motorola Mobility engineers will walk through building an end-to-end IIoT platform entirely on ASF projects.
- Streaming: Airbnb will present their config-driven streaming approach, and there are sessions on healing Apache Kafka Streams with Native DLQs and GenAI.
- Search: Bloomberg engineers are presenting on Apache Solr MCP, which allows AI agents to connect securely to Solr.

Community Over Code Glasgow 2026 runs October 11–14. Registration is open at https://communityovercode.org/. Early bird conference pricing for this year’s event is US$500 until July 28, when the regular rate of US$600 will apply. If you are an ASF committer, use your @apache.org email to register for the Committer rate of US$250.
