ASUS and Republic of Gamers to Showcase Next-Generation AI and 20 Years of Gaming Innovation at Computex 2026

ASUS and ROG’s Computex 2026 showcase will debut a new AI-driven hardware stack—think NPU-accelerated motherboards and real-time ray-tracing optimizations—while marking two decades of gaming dominance with a Taipei exhibit that doubles as a live benchmark for their end-to-end AI ecosystem. Expect PCIe 6.0-enabled GPUs and latency-slashing neural upscaling to steal the spotlight.

ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) will showcase their next-generation AI hardware stack and a 20th-anniversary gaming exhibit at Computex 2026, running from June 2–5 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The ASUS booth (M0820) focuses on end-to-end AI adoption across enterprise, creator, healthcare, and everyday computing, while the ROG booth (M0504) celebrates two decades of gaming innovation with experimental zones and a special-edition flagship collection.

What ASUS is showing

At the ASUS booth, the company will demonstrate its "Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities" vision, covering AI infrastructure, on-premise solutions, edge/IoT systems, and sustainability tools. Key areas include:

  • AI Infrastructure / Cloud: Scalable AI servers and the ASUS AI POD for data center workloads.
  • AI On Premise: Workflow automation via enterprise AI agents.
  • Sustainable AI: Continuous AI-driven optimization for efficiency.
  • Edge/IoT: Real-time intelligent computing for diverse environments.

These capabilities span six application domains: Workspace AI (productivity devices), Industrial AI (edge systems), Everyday AI (PCs, desktops, connected devices), Creator AI (ProArt ecosystem), Healthcare AI (diagnostics and monitoring), and Gaming AI (enhanced performance and immersion).

ROG 20th-anniversary showcase

The ROG booth will feature a legacy exhibition tracing the brand's engineering and design evolution, plus a 20th-anniversary special edition combining performance engineering with commemorative design. Visitors can participate in a hands-on PC DIY experience.

Six experimental zones — Future Gamer, Codeverse, Humanlink, APEX Craft, Illumotion, and Mechano — will explore new dimensions of gaming, creativity, interaction, and immersive technology. AI integration is highlighted for creative tools and gameplay enhancements.

Schedule and location

  • Computex 2026: June 2–5, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (GMT+8), Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (4F).
  • ROG Press Event & Party: June 1, 5:00–10:00 p.m. (GMT+8) at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei.

Tradeoffs

The announcements are heavy on vision and ecosystem positioning, with few concrete product specifications or release dates disclosed. ASUS's AI stack covers many verticals, but the practical performance gains — especially for gaming (e.g., neural upscaling, latency reduction) — will depend on real-world benchmarks at the show. The ROG 20th-anniversary special edition's pricing and availability remain unstated.

Bottom line

Computex 2026 will serve as ASUS and ROG's platform to demonstrate how their AI hardware and software ecosystem scales from data-center servers to consumer gaming rigs. The ROG anniversary exhibit offers a rare look at two decades of hardware design, while the experimental zones hint at where the company sees gaming and creativity converging next.
