Privacy and Security Features

The StarFighter includes several hardware-level privacy controls. The webcam is removable via a magnetic connector and can be stored inside the chassis when not in use. A physical kill switch disables all wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to prevent accidental or unauthorized access. The laptop also supports a measured boot flow via open-source firmware powered by coreboot and edk II, with firmware updates delivered through the Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS) for five years. Build and Input

The chassis uses a plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) coating, which creates a ceramic layer four times harder than steel and resistant to fingerprints. The keyboard is backlit with scissor mechanisms, includes media keys and a function lock switch, and is available in US English, UK English, French, German, Nordic, and Spanish layouts. Wireless connectivity is WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The included charger is a 65 W Gallium Nitride (GaN) unit, 30% smaller than traditional chargers.
